Carla joined Dowd Insurance in January of 2020 as an Account Manager. Carla grew up in Conroe, Texas, and met her husband, Nathan, in high school. While Carla married her high school sweetheart, she lives in a house divided. Carla completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M while Nathan attended the University of Texas. After college Carla worked in Houston for 3 years before moving to Austin after her and Nathan’s engagement. Carla and Nathan have two children, their son is a senior at Cedar Park High school and their daughter is in 6th grade at Naumann Elementary. During football season, Carla can be found cheering on her son and the Cedar Park Timberwolves football team. When she’s not cheering for her son, Carla is busy supporting her daughter’s

gymnastic and volleyball activities. Carla volunteers at Naumann Elementary, helping teachers prepare student folders that go home with students with their schoolwork, handouts and school information. Carla also owns her own business, BYO Branding, a full service advertising specialties company. In her free time, Carla enjoys reading, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
