Fall… it’s the season for pumpkin spice and everything nice!
Whether or not you’re on team pumpkin spice everything, anti-pumpkin spice, or somewhere in between, we hope you enjoy your favorite fall treats and festivities this month. To spice things up, we’re having some pumpkin fun of our own, and you can join in too!

How To Keep Pests Out Of Your Home This Fall

As temperatures cool during the autumn months, many unwelcome pests may consider the warmer environment of your home to be a tempting destination.
To minimize the chance of these pesky intruders taking up residence in your home, consider the following measures:
Check for cracks around doors and windows and seal or caulk them.
Clean out and sanitize your refrigerator, pantry and other areas where you store food.
Store trash cans and recycling receptacles away from your home and wash them regularly.
Flush your drains to remove food waste and grime that may cultivate larvae and other pests.

Local Spotlight: Austin Disaster Relief Network
|
Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) is comprised of nearly two hundred churches and thousands of trained volunteers who prepare, mobilize, and respond quickly to disasters that strike the region. Most recently ADRN has been responding to the needs of those affect by the Parmer Lane fire and Sonora apartment fire.
ADRN's disaster relief services include meeting immediate needs, such as emergency food, clothing, gas, and housing, as well as providing long-term support and critical resources to assist survivors during the rebuild/repair phase.
ADRN is always looking for new volunteers and additional support. Check out their website to learn about how to get involved with this wonderful organization serving our local community.

Thanks to your referrals we've donated $200 to Superhero Kids. Superhero Kids is a phenomenal organization which provides support to the patients and families receiving treatment at Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center of Central Texas for pediatric cancers and blood disorders.
Our charity for the next quarter is Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child sends shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities. You can get involved by filling boxes yourself or donating to the operation.
